GM & Ford instrument cluster repair + more srvcs! 24hr S

Post by Pr4mnceMan » Fri Feb 03, 2012 10:59 pm

Just wanted to post up I've got parts on hand to rebuild GM & Ford gauge clusters. Lights & Gauges etc. Most common failure is a lazy or non working speedometer. $100 if you bring vehicle to me and I pull and repair cluster. $80 if you bring me cluster already removed. The quoted repair is for 1 gauge, add $10 for each additional gauge needing serviced. These gauge motors are updated design and should not fail as the originals do. This is a quick and cheaper alternative to shipping your cluster off and having to wait for it. If you refer someone to me I'll pay a $20 referral. Thanks!

Do you know if it's a bulb or led?

I'm not sure what went out, but it started displaying random crap, then eventually displayed nothing. I didn't care enough to pay for it, because I figured I'd replace the stereo.

I've replaced the led bulbs in the cluster in my Avalanche myself and let me tell you...... those prices aren't bad. There's a decent amount of work involved with getting it right. It took me a few times of pulling the cluster back out to get it to work.
