RIP D C

These lost lives were more than just members, but friends to many, family to others, and a part of our lives, even if only through posts on a website.

This one hurts pretty bad. I’ve considered him a friend for 20 years. I’m still in a bit of disbelief/shock and my heart breaks for the family. The Clanton’s are the definition of good people and I’m sure will appreciate good thoughts and prayers.

Agreed. I’ve struggled with this since I heard the news. 😞

We typically only interacted in person when one of us was buying something from the other or randomly passed eachother at a bar but I always enjoyed it and he was a funny talented dude.

This fucking sucks.

So sad. He seemed like a great guy. I’ve met his father and brother many times over the years also

This is horrible. One of the genuinely nicest people i’ve ever met. I have the Victory Hammer he used to own. He wanted to borrow it last year, so of course i told him to take it and have fun. He brought me a gift card, Victory a branded Polo shirt and a Victory oil change kit for letting him ride it. Hell all i asked for was a $8 tank of fuel.
May HSV racing should have a strong showing at the service, or chip in on a gift card for his wife/kiddos?

WT hell. I just got a text from him Friday at 2:45pm.

We need to get together and help out. Who here can be a go between to see how we can help:

1) funds
2) cruise in during visitation?
Any other ideas?

I’m down to pitch in for him and his family as I’m positive the man would do the same for me and mine. And I knew him only from brief encounters.
