Also the paint I got from Alabama Color Technology matches way better than the other paint I had bought from Sherwin Williams. Sherwin Williams even used my gas cap to match up the paint, while ACT did not.

Ok so I'm bunping this for another question. I'm looking at a 65 C10 and I'm wondering how much paint it will take to paint the truck. I already have 1 gallon of paint coming, just not sure if that's enough.

A gallon should be fine for a half ton short bed...even the inside the bed and door jams...as long as you dont run it off in the floor....do you have a HVLP GUN???

Don't have anything to paint yet. Going to try and look at it tomorrow after class. If I don't get it then my search for a winter project will continue.

I put 3 coast on our 67 short bed and still had over a quart left with a siphon feed gun. One gallon should be fine, unless you are blowing the inside of the bed also.

I'm still interested in getting some paint advice/help for when I start on the truck. I gave you a call one day a few weeks ago and left a message, but I never got a call back. I just figured you were busy at the time, and I've been busy ever since. Still interested in meeting up or hanging out and watching if you're going to be spraying anything else soon. Just let me know.

I would be doing the exterior, jams, bed, and probably the dash.
