Interstate Battyeries vs Power Volt

Post by mittens » Tue May 14, 2013 9:28 am

So like to run interstate deep cycle on the boat,

and I need to replace one of the 3, the guy at interstate is telling me the Power Volt is there less name brand but is just as good. it even is rated at 20 more hours then the other one.

and its cheaper 86 out the door vs 126 .

thoughts? both have 12 month warrenty. but on interstate, ANYONE can replace it for me,. power volt, i would have to find a powervolt dealer.

Yea the boat only leaves local area once maybe twice a year.... so thats a plus.

also let be honest? most batterys will make it a year, and then it does not matter anyway.

I just wanted to know if anyone had bought a power volt

I bought two powervolts for my 7.3L F250 earlier this year. So far so good. I know it's not a marine application, but hey, you asked if anybody ran powervolts. ;)
